This is the final instance of my series of works dedicated to retro-futuristic aesthetics. This time it is an fps arena-like environment for characters from previous projects. The main source of inspiration is still the sci-fi cinema of 50s-70s. In addition to that I tried to add a lot of elements from the brutalist architecture of 20th century. In my opinion, it conveys a very sci-fi and alien-like narrative and brings this mysterious atmosphere.
The whole area is designed to be a close-quarter battle environment for an fps game like Team Fortress 2 or Valorant. I tried to push visuals closer to old-school aesthetics to make it even more nostalgic. Low-poly modeling, simple color pallet and trim texturing are the main principles for creating this piece.
Level design, modeling, texturing, shading, lighting and character work are all done by myself.
